ZP Engineering srl offers complete design services for embedded and DSP systems, focusing in industrial and digital audio designs. The company has started in 1998 and has now completed over 120 successful designs over a broad range of applications.
Our services include all design phases, leading to the delivery of working prototypes, and small-to-medium production of boards and systems.
Extensive in-house software and firmware development capabilities are available, on embedded DSPs, RISC processors, x86 and host (Linux and Windows based). Long-term expertise in FPGA design is part of our offering.
We believe that current electronic design dictates the need to handle projects in an integrated and interdisciplinary way.

October 2008 - 125th AES Convention (San Francisco, USA; October 3-5, 2008)
ZP Engineering will be exhbiting at the forthcoming AES Convention , booth 1512. A new release for the updated family of picoDM modules (formerly DAI modules) will be shown. September 2008 - ZP becomes an AES50 Authorized Developer (London, UK; September 06, 2008)
ZP Engineering has been selected by Midas/Klark-Teknik of the Bosch Communicaton Systems Group as Authorized Developer for the AES50 standard.
February 2008 - Embedded World 2007 (Nurnberg, Germany; February 26-28, 2008)
ZP Engineering has exhibited for the second year at the Analog Devices Partners Pavillion (hall 12, stand 322) during Embedded World 2008. The DSA11 (an OEM platform for audio signal processing), and a new release of ThePod libraries and sw tools have been shown.
January 2008 - Winter NAMM (Anaheim, California; January 17-20, 2008)
ZP Engineering has exhibited during the Winter NAMM show within the bridgeCo booth (hall E, booth 1801) and presented the DAI_EVB evaluation platform for DAI1/DAI2 modules.
December 2007 - ZP becomes an Authorized Developer for Audinate (Rome, Italy; December 13, 2007)
Audinate Pty Ltd (Sydney, Australia) is the developer of Dante™, a digital media networking solution that uses standard Internet Protocols over Ethernet and combines unsurpassed performance with unprecedented ease of use. Dante’s patented technology provides extremely reliable digital audio distribution with seriously low latency and sample-accurate playback, along with plenty of control and data bandwidth. Dante™ has already been licensed and adopted by Dolby Labs, among others. Audinate selected ZP Engineering to become an Authorized Implementer for Europe, increasing ZP technology offerings in the field of digital audio connectivity.
November 2007 - DAI_EVB Evaluation Board for DAI Firewire OEM card (Rome, Italy; November 26, 2007)
It is now easier to evaluate DAI audio modules; the flexible Evaluation Board is now available. It includes an onboard stereo A/D and D/A, MIDI connectors, and all digital signals on 0.1" headers. The board can optionally be powered from Firewire cable.
March 2007 - ThePod is released (Rome, Italy; March 20, 2007)
ThePod is now in full production with dedicated driver install, example code, Tcl extension and documentation.
