October 2008 - 125th AES Convention (San Francisco, USA; October 3-5, 2008)
ZP Engineering has exhibited at the 125th AES Convention, booth 1512. A new release for the updated family of picoDM modules (formerly DAI modules) has been shown. September 2008 - ZP becomes an AES50 Authorized Developer (London, UK; September 06, 2008)
ZP Engineering has been selected by Midas/Klark-Teknik of the Bosch Communicaton Systems Group as Authorized Developer for the AES50 standard.
February 2008 - Embedded World 2008 (Nurnberg, Germany; February 26-28, 2008)
ZP Engineering will exhibit for the second year at the Analog Devices Partners Pavillion (hall 12, stand 322) during Embedded World 2008. We will exhibit recent custom designs and a new release of ThePod libraries and sw tools.
January 2008 - Winter NAMM (Anaheim, California; January 17-20, 2008)
ZP Engineering has exhibited during the Winter NAMM show within the bridgeCo booth (hall E, booth 1801) and presented the DAI_EVB evaluation platform for DAI1/DAI2 modules.

Dante’s patented technology provides extremely reliable digital audio distribution with seriously low latency and sample-accurate playback, along with plenty of control and data bandwidth. Dante™ has already been licensed and adopted by Dolby Labs, among others. Audinate selected ZP Engineering to become an Authorized Implementer for Europe, increasing ZP technology offerings in the field of digital audio connectivity.
November 2007 - DAI_EVB Evaluation Board for DAI Firewire OEM card (Rome, Italy; November 26, 2007)
It is now easier to evaluate DAI audio modules; the flexible Evaluation Board is now available. It includes an onboard stereo A/D and D/A, MIDI connectors, and all digital signals on 0.1" headers. The board can optionally be powered from Firewire cable.
March 2007 - ThePod is released (Rome, Italy; March 20, 2007)
ThePod is now in full production with dedicated driver install, example code, Tcl extension and documentation.
February 2007 - Mention in Embedded System Design Europe
ZP Engineering logo appears on the cover of Embedded System Design Europe, January/February 2007 issue (vol. 11, number 79), as a result of the strong collaboration with Analog Devices that has been active for several years.
February 2007 - Embedded World 2007 (Nurnberg, Germany; February 13-15, 2007)
ZP Engineering has exhibited typical designs during Embedded World 2007. ZP has been present at the Analog Devices Partners Pavillion (hall 12, stand 316) for the whole duration of the show. ThePod, a dedicated debug interface with provisions for communicating with SHARC and Blackfin processors, has been presented. See announcement on ADI web site or in pdf.
January 2007 - OEM board with Firewire at NAMM (Anaheim, California; January 18-21, 2007)
ZP Engineering has exhibited during the Winter NAMM show within the bridgeCo booth (hall E, 1801) and has presented a new, compact OEM module for Firewire connectivity with several mounting options and prebuilt firmware binaries; the DAI1 module (Digital Audio Interface) is the first of a series of OEM modules dedicated to digital audio interface standards.
November 2006 - Presentation at the 2006 Congress of AES (italian section) (Rome; Nov. 11, 2006)
ZP Engineering presented a contribution within the 2006 Congress organized by the Italian Section of AES (Audio Engineeering Society); the congress focused on New Technologies for audio service companies and the presentation had the following title: "Audio digitale multicanale: Cobranet, Ethersound, AES-50" (Multichannel Digital Audio: Cobranet, Ethersound and AES-50).
September 2006 - Paper at DSP Application Day 2006 (Milan; Sept. 18, 2006)
ZP Engineering presented the following paper at the annual event DSP Application Day held at the University of Milan: "Impiego di sistemi operativi e kernel real-time sui DSP di nuova generazione" (Using operating systems and real-time kernels on new-generation DSPs); more details can be found at http://dsprts.dico.unimi.it/.
ZP Engineering held a seminar at the University of Pisa, within the course of Musical Physics (held by prof. Sozzi), entitled "Progettazione di sistemi basati su DSP per applicazioni audio" (Design of DSP systems for audio applications) .
February 2006 - More boards exhibited at Embedded World (Nurnberg, Germany; February 14, 2006)
ZP Engineering exhibited example designs at the Embedded World exhibition in Nurnberg (Germany). An ARM9-based design was visible in the Digi/NetSilicon booth (12-228), and a compact design based on the latest Analog Devices SHARC DSP was shown at Analog Devices booth (12-316).
January 2006 - FireWire solutions shown at NAMM (Anaheim, California; January 18, 2006)
ZP Engineering has shown FireWire board-level solutions during the NAMM show held in Anaheim (California) at Hall E, booth 1801 (BridgeCo); the DM-01 module, the ADAT demonstrator and a new, low-cost IEEE-1394 interface were shown.
October 2005 - DM-01 OEM module runs a 64-channel ADAT demonstrator at AES (New York City; October 7, 2005)
ZP Engineering will show a running demonstrator at booth 1210 (BridgeCo); it is based on the DM-01 module and it implements a 32-in, 32-out converter between ADAT and FireWire. MIDI in/out ports and Word Clock input and output are provided.
September 2005 - New firmware release for JENET CAMAC Crate Controller (Rome; September 27, 2005)
A new release for Jenet, our CAMAC Crate Controller, is available for free download; improvements have been made to optimize execution speed; several new features have been added, such as block transfer, binary commands, password-protected webserver, remote serial port control. May 2005 - OEM module for IEEE-1394 connectivity shown at AES exhibition

ZP Engineering is showing the DM-01, an OEM module that offers IEEE-1394 connectivity for digital audio applications. The OEM module is visible at the BridgeCo booth and offers up to 64 digital audio channels, sample rates up to 96 kHz, MIDI ports, MIDI and ASIO drivers for both Windows XP and Mac OS X. January 2005 - New partnership with BridgeCo

ZP Engineering has been chosen as authorized third-party developer and system integrator by BridgeCo AG (http://www.bridgeco.net/), a leading provider of wired and wireless digital home entertainment networking solutions. BridgeCo leading product is a complete solution for FireWire audio interfaces, and ZP has been selected due to its long-term experience in the pro audio field and integration capabilities.
The BridgeCo relationship adds to ZP Engineering's existing agreements with IC vendors Analog Devices, NetSilicon and QuickLogic.

January 2005 - New location
From beginning of January, ZP Engineering has moved to a larger facility located within the
Tecnopolo Tiburtino, a new business park located just outside of Rome;

ZP Engineering has attended the novel event D-Music Master 2004, presenting
a paper entitled "Sample rates, formati, qualità" ("Sample rates, audio formats, quality"), dedicated to some aspects
of digital audio in modern times.

IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium showing its design capabilities and its latest
product, the JENET CAMAC crate controller.
September 2004 - DSP Application Day(Milan; Sept 20, 2004)
ZP Engineering has attended the DSP Application Day
and presented a paper entitled "Progettazione di una scheda DSP per applicazioni audio multicanale" ("Design
of a DSP add-on card for multichannel audio applications") detailing the design and debug activities which took place for a recent project.
The conference took place at the IT and communication Department of the University of Milan; a total of 10
papers and seminars have be given during the day.
